Standings and Tie-breaking Procedures
The standings shall be determined solely on total points. Teams will be granted 2 points for a win, 1 point for a shootout loss, and 0 points for a loss.
In the event of a tie in the standings at the conclusion of the regular season, the HHCC Commissioner will utilize the following tie-breaking sequence to provide a final seeding of the teams:
- Head-to-Head Record
- Overall Goal Differential
- Fewest Penalty Minutes
- Least Goals Allowed
- Most Goals Scores (Capped at 6 per Game)
- Coin Toss
HHCHL SUMMER C/D LEAGUE BEGINS JULY 2ND 2024
Houston Hockey Community Hockey League Tuesday night Adult League is exclusive for C & D level players. The league will have 5 teams that will play each week with no ties. Goalies and Players are drafted to teams based on age and skill level. Team Jerseys Provided.
2024 Summer Playoffs
The Summer league playoffs will be held on Oct 8, 15, and 22nd. The top team will receive a bye on Oct 8th. The lowest losing seed will have a bye on Oct 15th. And the Championship game will be played on the 22nd. The location is still TBD and will be updated as that decision gets made. Format of games as follows:
10/8 Game 1: 2 v 5
10/8 Game 2: 1 vs Loser 10/8 Game 1
10/8 Game 3: 3 v 4
10/15 Game 1: 1 v Highest Losing Seed
10/15 Game 2: Loser 10/8 Game 1 vs Loser 10/15 Game 1
10/15 Game 3: 2nd Highest Seed Remaining vs 3rd Highest Seed Remaining
10/22 Consolation: Loser 10/15 Game 1 vs Loser 10/15 Game 3
